Citlaly Stanton

Citlaly Stanton serves as the Spanish Client Resource Advocate with NAWC. She is passionate about working one-to-one with community members to ensure that immigrant communities have access to resources and support as she says navigating resources and acclimating to a new environment are critical for ensuring access to education, health, wellness, safety, and employment. Citlaly herself immigrated to Urbana from Morelia, Michoacan (Mexico) and is happily married with a wonderful 4 years old son.

In her spare time, Citlaly loves traveling, cooking and dancing. Her family is currently pescatarian but she was a strict vegetarian for almost 10 years. Before getting married, Citlaly traveled a lot delivering yoga workshops and doing social service across 8 countries.
