Aeraena Yang

Aeraena is a Korean community worker at NAWC. She graduated, majoring in Management of Hospitality and Tourism and minoring in Japanese, from Sejong University in Seoul Korea and then worked as an ARGM. She started at NAWC by helping with Welcoming Week. As a Community Worker, she runs an English Learners Bookclub at the Champaign Library every Friday. Aeraena appreciates NAWC for having open arms to immigrants, and giving them the opportunity to be involve in meaningful belonging. In her spare time, she cooks, bakes sourdough bread, swims, and exercises with her family. Aeraena speaks fluent Korean, English, and conversational Japanese.
