Maja Nawrocka

Maja (as of June 2024) is the Grants and Special Projects Intern at NAWC. She is currently a student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign studying Philosophy and Political Science. She assists at NAWC by working on Welcoming Week planning and grant writing and planning. As a university student and immigrant, Maja values their time at NAWC and appreciates the opportunity to get hands-on experience in an office setting and to learn the ins and outs of a nonprofit organization. In her spare time, she tries out new recipes, boulders, and takes walks with her cat. Maja is bilingual in both English and Polish.
